The Farm Firria is located in the Noto Valley near Avola, a unique hexagonal Sicilian village, famous for its almonds and architecture that denotes the Liberty style spread in Italy in early 1900’s.
The farm was “born” in 2015 from an idea of enhancing the belonging land and making its beauty known through the high-quality products, which can be find only in this area given its particular organoleptic characteristics.
The project philosophy is embedded in the name Firria, a word of the Sicilian dialect which means “turn”. It indicates how the products’ turning can make them known to many people, at first through the flavours they carry in themselves, and later, who knows, even through this beautiful land that is called Sicily.
What gave life to this venture is our passion for:
- the nature we respect
- the culture we appreciate
- the traditions we pass down
- the ingredients we know all about, and
- the quality we look after.
And it is the fusion of these passions that make the Firria products unique.
